Timeless Celebrations Ireland® by Aoife McHugh, designs and creates luxurious sustainable festive goods. The main product is the Timeless Cracker®, a luxurious reusable celebration cracker, the only one of its kind made in Ireland. Made with beautiful festive fabrics to suit any table décor, the Timeless Cracker® pulls apart and reattaches with Velcro, so they can be used year after year. The company’s mission is to reduce waste and increase thoughtfulness throughout the festive season.

What’s a typical day in the studio like for you?

In the morning I work on social media and admin work. In the afternoon I design and make items.

What do you like most about your work?

I love sourcing new fabrics and then creating the first prototype in that new fabric.

What do you like least about your work?  

Some of the stages in the process can be repetitive, but its all worthwhile once the item is complete.

What’s your favourite craft item in your home?

A beautiful handmade chess board made out of wood. Also,I have an over sized Advent calendar (2 meters tall) that is in the shape of a Christmas tree, which goes up on the 30th of November every year.
