Christian Bason is a visionary leader at the forefront of design-driven innovation and brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the world of design. As the CEO of the Danish Design Center, Christian has played a pivotal role strengthening the value of all forms of design in society. Formerly, Christian was Director of MindLab, the Danish government’s innovation team, and Business Manager with Ramboll, a global advisory group.
An author of nine books, including his most recent, Expand: Stretching the Future by Design, and a frequent keynote speaker and presenter on design as a method and mindset for sustainable change at home and abroad. Christian has inspired countless individuals, leaders and organizations to embrace design as a catalyst for positive change.
Christian has dedicated himself to fostering innovation, sustainability, and positive societal change. Under his leadership, the Danish Design Centre has become a global hub for design excellence, providing valuable resources, insights, and platforms for designers, businesses, and policymakers. Throughout his career, Christian Bason has been a tireless advocate for the role of design in creating a more sustainable, equitable, and innovative future.
