As part of Irish Design Week 2024, learn how to use techniques such as fabric applique, fabric painting, and hand embroidery, to create your own original customised tote bag.
The fashion design workshop is run by award winning artist and designer Kathy Ross in Tuam Library. The workshop will bring together the different generations who use the library and ask them to contemplate their own imagination and opportunities within the community.
Participants will take inspiration from nature and botanical illustrations, crossed with street art and punk motifs, to create their own bespoke bag.
