Through knitting together the workshop will explore the local shared wisdom of aran knitting and how it connected very different communities across Ireland.
From shared traditions and beliefs of the past we will find new design directions.
This is an opportunity to build a personal directory of stitches while learning the essential codes for building aran with both beauty and balance. Locally sourced yarn will be supplied.
