No 2 days are ever the same. Some days I might have beading projects that need completing. The beading is very time consuming and intricate! I need to make sure I have had plenty of sleep and a coffee that morning!
Other days are dedicated to working with polymer clay. The process of sculpting the clay and watching my creations come to life is incredibly rewarding. I often experiment with different techniques and every day I am learning more about the craft.
Any social media/business/paperwork that needs to be done I usually leave that til late in the afternoon because I enjoy that the least!
Try to connect with a network of other craftspeople. Their advice and experience are really helpful, particularly if you work alone. It's nice to have others to share and discuss ideas with.

Without a doubt the creativity. Each project, whether it involves beading, polymer clay, or soldering, offers a unique opportunity to explore new techniques, push the boundaries of my skills, and produce something original. The process of transforming raw materials into beautiful, finished pieces is incredibly satisfying and fulfilling.
I have 2 beautiful paintings by Galway based artist Lola O’Donohue. I never get tired of looking at them!
